Ellucian Banner Driver

Important Note:

The Ellucian Banner driver is dependent on the IDM-provided jetty library. Jetty provides the web services code used to send and receive the SOAP messages via HTTP(S). Unfortunately, the various major versions of jetty are not completely compatible with each other in how they are used. As a result, the driver shim versions will have to be IDM/jetty version dependent. To our knowledge, the jetty version is the same within the same major release of IDM, so it shouldn’t be necessary to check the jetty library version once you know the major IDM version. The required major jetty version will be shown on the driver releases. The jetty library is a part of the IDM java class libraries in the installed location, for example in /opt/novell/eDirectory/lib/dirxml/classes. It will be a file named jetty*.jar where the * will consist of other information including the version string. The first number of the version is the major version and will guide you as to which shim will work.
